We are looking for a confident, compassionate, and committed Social Worker to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Bierley. This role will be full-time, 37.5 hours per week; however, we are open to applicants seeking part-time hours and welcome applications.

Cygnet Hospital Bierley provides a range of acute and low secure mental health services for men and women.
The hospital is set across four wards offering single-sex male and female specialist mental health services. All our services are provided under the umbrella of a recovery-oriented approach and are reviewed through the CPA framework.
Your Day-to-Day
* You will be working 37.5 hours a week
* Work in partnership with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to assist with the recovery process
* Forge links and maintain contact with other statutory agencies
* Lead on the social care needs of service users
* Ensure that service users and their families/carers are aware of their legal rights
* Take an active role in safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team
* Provide written reports to the multidisciplinary team and other professionals
You are
* A Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
* Experienced in working within a mental health setting, or passionate about working in this field
* Knowledgeable of safeguarding, health and safety, data protection, confidentiality issues, and equality and diversity
* An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
* Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Skilled in report writing with excellent literacy skills and attention to detail
