Job summary We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader ODP - Radiology who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. Interventional Radiology is an expanding service providing excellent care now to include admission and recovery of elective patients and a continued emergency service for the Trust. This role may be of interest for nurses who have experience in either Radiology, Operating Theatres, Day Surgery, Endoscopy and or general surgical experience. The team currently covers Monday to Friday but will expanding to provide a seven-day service, so candidates will be expected to work evenings and weekends as part of a rotation with other team members. Main duties of the job To assist in the management and co-ordination of the Nursing Team in the Radiology Department. To act as a role model for the clinical practice during interventions - effective time and resource management. To participate as a member of the nursing team, providing a high standard of research based individualized care to all Radiology patients. Provide advice and support to the team of staff working in all interventional areas in order to deliver a quality service that is linked to high standard of patient care. To take charge of the Nursing Team in the absence of the Senior Sister, co-ordinate the worklist and liaise with Operational Leads.
