Are you interested in the operational side of education and examinations? Are you passionate about supporting individuals in achieving their professional qualifications? As an Exam Delivery Manager, your primary role will involve the smooth-running of the examinations for all qualifications and ensuring they are delivered effectively. Managing processes and procedures necessary to deliver exams globally by working closely with suppliers, venue providers and the wider business.
Relationship building skills are essential for this role, as are exceptional organisational skills and prior management experience. The role of Exam Delivery Manager also requires strong Excel knowledge as you will be forecasting, evaluating, analysing and reporting data from each session.
Your duties as an Exam Delivery Manager will include but are not limited to:
1. Supporting the Head of Exam Delivery in delivering exams globally.
2. Managing the Exam Delivery Administrator.
3. Managing and controlling the preparation of the annual examinations.
4. Ensuring exam related documents, including instructions, processes, training documents and web pages are kept up to date and fit for purpose for each session.
5. Updating exam systems, ensuring the information between internal and 3rd parties’ systems are integrated and reconciled within strict timescales.
6. Accurately creating exam sessions within internal systems and managing the session booking window, including session booking issues.
7. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Forecasting global centre requirements.
9. Processing manual exam applications promptly, ensuring payments have been received or fee waivers have been authorised and all systems are updated correctly.
10. Managing exam booking changes ensuring all systems and stakeholders are updated accordingly.
11. Managing, reviewing and collating post exam data for review and escalation.
12. Providing feedback to suppliers using student survey and incident reports. Ensuring issues are raised, responded to, and rectified.
13. Reconciliation of session.
14. Ensuring invoices and purchase orders are raised and actioned within a timely manner.
15. Managing the exam withdrawal and refund processes.
To be a successful Exam Delivery Manager, you must have:
1. Strong Excel skills.
2. Prior management experience.
3. Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.
4. A high level of data entry accuracy.
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. Proven ability to prioritise and deliver excellence in a fast-paced environment.
7. The ability to work under pressure and towards targets.
8. Excellent customer service skills.
