Thanks to exciting growth opportunities, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join the busy team at our Lloyd BMW and MINI retailer in Newcastle.
Reporting to the Retailer Accountant, you will be responsible for the supervision and day-to-day running of the accounting and administration function within the retailer.
As a Management Accountant, your duties will include:
1. Assistance with the preparation of monthly management accounts to tight reporting deadlines for our manufacturer, BMW and MINI.
2. Joint responsibility in managing a small accounts team and Sales Administrators.
3. Reconciliation of month end control accounts and vehicle funding line.
4. Vehicle Stock Checks and reconciliation.
5. Monthly payroll preparation.
6. Budgeting.
7. Supporting and supplying departmental managers with financial analysis as required.
8. Other ad hoc duties as required such as debt chasing and compliance and risk analysis.
9. Promoting and actively encouraging positive working relationships within the team and wider business, leading by example, and fostering inclusivity.
Ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
* Previous experience in a Management Accountant role.
* CIMA or ACCA qualified or working towards is desirable.
* Experience of working within the motor industry in an accounting role is desirable.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
* Working knowledge of CDK Kerridge would be advantageous.
* Accuracy and ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
* A great team player, working alongside others with integrity, positivity and respect.
* Confidentiality and discretion are a must.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: up to £38,000
Company Car will be provided.
