Role: Senior Landscape Architect
Location: Tyne and Wear
Salary: £38 - £45K
LEAD Careers have been appointed to source a Senior Landscape Architect for a Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy to work on a hybrid basis out of their Newcastle office. The consultancy works on some of the UK's most exciting development projects, ranging from residential and commercial schemes to nationally significant transport infrastructure, renewable energy development, new settlements, and urban regeneration.
As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will have a special blend of skills combining landscape architecture with assessment and green infrastructure planning.
SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. A Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Landscape Architecture
2. A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
3. Proven track record in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and their application
4. Experience in landscape character assessment and appraisal
5. Creative interest in green infrastructure and environmental design and management
6. Good written skills
7. CAD/GIS and graphic software ability desirable
8. An understanding of procedures and guidance relating to the preparation of visualisations desirable
9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with people at all levels and within different disciplines
10. Full UK driving licence and be willing to travel throughout the country to undertake site visits
