Overview:
We are seeking a Office Administrator/Planner to join our small team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in office and administrative tasks, be able to work on your own initiative but equally be part of a team. Ensure smooth operations within the office environment
Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist in bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Maintain a tidy and organized office space
- Allocate the drivers jobs and plan return journeys for them
- Pricing jobs up
- Permits daily and monthly.
- Take office phone home during the week, when needed, to provide cover after office hours.
Experience:
- Knowledge of geography
Proven experience in an office administration role
- Experience in transport an advantage
- Good geographical knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and customer service principles
- Typing speed and accuracy
