BLOOMING GARDENERS
Blooming Gardeners S.C.I.O. (Scottish Charity No. SC053019) is a therapeutic gardening project in Easter Ross which gives adults with learning disabilities or neurodivergent conditions the opportunity to experience all aspects of horticulture in a happy, safe and supportive environment. Its primary aim is to maintain and improve the health and well-being of its clients (gardeners) through their involvement in horticulture and being part of a friendly peer group. Our gardeners take pride in their meaningful and productive work, which boosts their self-esteem.
We have links with two special schools in the area to provide some of their senior pupils with taster sessions working alongside our gardeners.
Blooming Gardeners employs Horticultural Trainers to guide the gardeners in plant production, garden maintenance, soft landscaping and fruit and vegetable growing. We have a vacancy for a part-time Horticultural Trainer to join the team for three days a week.

The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the other Horticultural Trainers in practical gardening activities.
