1:1 Behaviour Support Role Location: Bridgend Area Setting: Local SEN School Position: Full-Time (through Teaching Personnel) Are you a patient, resilient, and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in a young person's life? Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and passionate professional to provide 1:1 support for a pupil who displays very challenging behaviours. The role: Providing 1:1 support to a pupil with complex behavioural needs. Working within a supportive SEN school environment. Implementing tailored strategies to encourage engagement, learning, and positive behaviour. Collaborating closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other professionals to meet the pupil’s individual needs. Full-time position, Monday to Friday. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people displaying challenging behaviours. Experience in SEN settings is desirable but not essential. Ability to remain calm under pressure and use de-escalation techniques effectively. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting the pupil. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with staff and families. A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
