RAC are on the lookout for an experienced HR Administrator to join our talented, friendly and fast paced HR Service team.
As a HR Administrator at the RAC you'll be integral to supporting the business, line managers and employees in all things HR and play an important part of the full employee lifecycle. You'll be involved in a wide range of HR aspects including onboarding, payroll, reward and benefits, as well as general HR admin.
This position is a hybrid role with two days in the office and three days working from home
Accountabilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Produce contracts / offers of employment, enabling a seamless transition into the business, and providing relevant documentation for contract adjustments
2. Ensure documents produced have been checked and validated for quality
3. Initiate and track pre-employment screening via third parties, ensuring that all checks are completed within FCA guidelines and legal requirements
4. Assist with the collation of data for the monthly payroll, querying anomalies and missing data
5. Monthly checking and validating payroll documents, providing clear instruction with the payroll provider
6. Provide timely day to day advice to line managers and employees on general HR related queries
7. Supporting the annual processing of P11Ds including queries regarding the application of tax
8. Day to day administration within the colleague’s lifecycle, including statutory payments and deductions
9. Updating the HR/Payroll System with required information for payment and business reporting requirements.
10. Help manage HR mailbox circa 200 – 300 emails per day
What you will need
The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus with a drive to deliver a high-quality service to all areas of the business. The RAC is a fast paced, diverse organisation and will require you to work well under pressured deadlines with excellent attention to detail and strong organisation and time management. A natural problem solver who can communicate confidently and comfortably.
You will be able to demonstrate strong computer skills across the full range of Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Excel, Word and the use of mail merge, and prior experience of HR and payroll systems.
