History Teaches/Professionals/Specialists - Swindon
Protocol Education are working with secondary schools in the Swindon area to appoint enthusiastic and committed History Teachers/Professionals/Specialists. With that in mind, we are looking for individuals who carry a passion for History, working with young people and making a positve impact on their lives and education.
Although QTS would be preferred, school will accept subject specialists or those with experience working with young people or in education in another capactity.
Start Date: January

Qualified Teachers paid to scale
Unqualified - based on experience
Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging History lessons to students - IF UNQUALIFIED, NO EXPECTATION TO PLAN AND MARK
Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning
Establish a positive and supportive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Preferred but not essential
Degree/Experience in History or related field
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for History
Experience:
Proven experience teaching History at secondary school level is preferred but not essential
Experience working with Children/Young People within education or similar field (coaching, youth work etc)
Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent understanding of History concepts and principles
Effective classroom management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
