Temporary opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy Finance Team on an initial 3-month contract basis in Aberdeen. This role will see you assisting with invoice processing, bank reconciliations and supporting preparation for month-end. Ideal opportunity for an individual with previous experience within accounts payable.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Reviewing and accurately processing supplier invoices and expense reports.
* Performing regular bank and cash reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
* Preparing and issuing purchase orders, processing sales orders, and handling customer statements.
* Monitoring accounts, resolving discrepancies, and communicating effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Supporting with month-end preparation such as prepayments and accruals.
* Assisting with the production of financial reporting to support decision-making.
