Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
Location: LEEDS, WEST YORKSHIRE

This is a critical role within a fast-growing business that will be responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, inbound deliveries, and outbound goods despatch. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, people leadership, and problem-solving skills. This role directly reports into the Supply Chain Manager.

Behind our great products is a team of great people and we’re looking for the right team player to join our busy operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations: Oversee the daily operations of warehouse, freezer, and loading yard - ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies.
2. Warehouse Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels on our warehouse management system through conducting regular finished goods and raw material stock counts and reconciliations.
3. Outbound Despatch: Manage goods out despatches through liaising with external hauliers to book collections, ensuring collections are made on time. Oversee preparation of goods out paperwork for daily collections and assist warehouse team in loading and unloading of wagons.
4. Inbound Supplier Deliveries: Manage inbound supplier delivery schedule to ensure smooth daily operations. Oversee receipting goods in supplier deliveries of raw materials and packaging on warehouse management system.
5. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate physical records of warehouse activities, including goods in receipts, goods out despatches, and stock counts.
6. Line Management: Lead a team of 2-3 warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
7. Cross Functional Planning: Collaborate with other departments on a daily basis (e.g., Supply Chain and Production) to ensure smooth operations between goods in, production, and goods out despatch.
8. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all warehouse operations and inspect warehouse equipment while overseeing general maintenance when necessary.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role, with at least 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
2. Strong knowledge of warehouse management and inventory control processes.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
6. Experience in BRC accredited facility preferred.
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse software.
9. Forklift license.
10. UK driving license.
Schedule:
1. 8 hour shift
2. Day shift
3. Monday to Friday
