Responsibilities Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) Senior Consultant Job Overview: As a member of the Oracle Consulting, SCM team, you will work as an integral part of Oracle Applications Consulting’s project implementation teams, with the opportunity to engage across the lifecycle of our customers’ Oracle digital transformation journeys. You will be a self-starter, capable of managing individual work packages, contributing to architecture discussions, supporting pre-sales activities and providing thought leadership on how to get the best out of the Oracle applications. Main responsibilities: The successful applicant will also be capable of leading UK delivery in the Oracle SCM Applications space when necessary and have a proven track record of consistently excellent delivery. Recognised as an expert and able to contribute to scope, design, configuration and testing in a delivery capacity using Oracle SCM Cloud, the applicant will have the opportunity to work on some of the most high profile Oracle Supply Chain implementations in the UK. Responsible for championing successful delivery of Oracle SCM Solutions and leading Oracle's global clients through their journey to cloud SCM solutions. Candidate details: A proven track record of end-to-end delivery of Oracle Supply Chain Management applications, preferably across more than one end to end process area. A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience with Oracle SCM Cloud Service with at least 2 full project life cycles. A detailed knowledge of the Oracle SCM Cloud suite of products to advise and guide customers on implementation and integration of the Oracle applications with reference to Oracle’s Modern Best Practice processes, maximizing use of out-of-the box applications. Having the ability to present proposals and business process information to both technical and business audiences, preparing and delivering briefings and presentations for project teams, management and customers as appropriate; Good project planning/management skills Full travel mobility Functional Knowledge - The candidate must be an expert within at least three of the following modules: Plan to Produce Demand Management Supply Chain Planning And ideally exposure to some, or all, of the following product areas, preferably in Cloud (but could be EBS): Source to Settle Order to Cash: Desirable Skills: Some experience preferred in SCM Cloud Integration and Extensibility approaches. · Experience and understanding of the latest technology advancements associated with SCM such as IoT, Blockchain. Experience in IT project delivery, HCM / SaaS experience preferred. 10 plus years relevant experience, including 4-6 years of consulting or equivalent business unit experience. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Demonstrable ability to present convincing ideas, facilitate group sessions, influence decisions and interact with all levels of client personnel. Ability to communicate effectively, build rapport with team members and clients. Knowledge of system implementation lifecycle, ideally with a focus on business change, process optimisation, UAT, training and post go live support ideal. BA/BSc degree in relevant specialty (IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business) preferred. Ability to travel as needed.
