Description Job Description Hours – 40 per week Duration of contract: full-time, permanent Shifts available: Rotational, 06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00 Our continued success and business growth have opened an exciting opportunity for experienced an enthusiastic individual to join our successful team at the Middlewich Shared User Site. Within this role you will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support to the Warehouse Shift Manager and Operations team in a fast-paced environment daily. Key Responsibilities: To advise management of problems and shutdowns, which may impact operational performance. Liaise with engineers and operations for all aspects of automated MHE availability. To provide accurate and timely reports for management and functional teams. The collation and the provision of statistical systems information in various formats to meet business requirements. To monitor the status of loading and closing of loads to ensure all are completed. To undertake effective handovers with incoming and outgoing controller. Attend department and team meetings as and when required. Liaising with the planning teams to check orders as per the Load Plan, ensuring they are accurate, correct, received in a timely manner and planned to time windows as per SLA’s, allowing reasonable and effective picking to be completed by due despatch time. Full compliance with company Health and Safety, Quality, Security and Environmental KPI’s. Working closely with the Health and Safety and People Team to ensure compliance with legislation. WMS housekeeping maintenance, making recommendations for solutions, processes, and procedural improvements to improve site efficiencies. Undertake damage analysis, problem-solve, and make recommendations to offer solutions for corrective action to drive down costs and make efficiencies. Meet customer services requirements in full. Ensure robust and up-to-date communications with all stakeholders. Provide support for the warehouse function as and when required. Additional Responsibilities: Supporting and involvement in ad hoc duties and projects as and when required. Essential skills: Experience of working within an administrative role/relevant industrial experience. Excellent IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and database input. Desirable experience and skills: Working within a warehouse environment. Experience of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). First Aid Qualification. Person specification: A flexible, organised approach towards work and the ability to multitask. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to problem-solve and work on own initiative. A good team player with a positive can-do attitude.
