Inclusion Room Manager
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
As an Inclusion Room Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the inclusive and supportive environment within our educational institution. You will be responsible for managing the Inclusion Room, a space designed to provide support and guidance to students who may require additional assistance, whether it be academically, emotionally, or behaviourally. Your primary objective will be to create a safe, nurturing, and conducive environment that fosters the personal and academic growth of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the Inclusion Room: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Inclusion Room, including scheduling, organization, and maintenance of the space.
Student Support: Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance, addressing their academic, emotional, and behavioural needs.
Behaviour Management: Implement strategies and interventions to manage challenging behaviors effectively, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere within the Inclusion Room.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, counselors, and other staff members to develop and implement personalized support plans for students, ensuring continuity of care and consistent approach.
Monitoring Progress: Track and monitor the progress of students within the Inclusion Room, regularly assessing their needs and adjusting support strategies as necessary.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress, and support plans, adhering to confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
Communication: Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing updates on student progress, discussing concerns, and involving them in the support process where appropriate.
Training and Development: Stay updated on best practices, techniques, and developments in the field of inclusive education, participating in relevant training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience working with students in an educational or youth support setting.
Strong understanding of inclusive education principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage challenging situations.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
