We are now looking for a Facilities Officer to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week. We will also consider part-time hours, between 22.2 hours (3 days), to 37 hours (5 days).

The Role
As a Facilities Officer, you will ensure that our buildings and facilities are well-maintained, safe and fit for purpose, supporting staff and visitors in their day-to-day activities.
You will lead the inspection, maintenance and refurbishment of buildings, systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with statutory standards and maintaining accurate records.
Managing small-scale projects, you will co-ordinate with contractors, supervise works and implement planned and reactive maintenance schedules.
Additionally, you will:
- Oversee safety measures and implement health and safety policies
- Manage utilities contracts, monitor energy costs and recommend efficiency improvements
- Oversee the delivery and stock of corporate wear, consumables and stationery
About You
To be considered as a Facilities Officer, you will need:
- Experience managing contractors
- Facilities management knowledge and practical skills
- Knowledge of Health and Safety in relation to facilities management
- Analytical skills
