Job Summary: Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Laboratory Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our laboratory operations. Your responsibilities will include: Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday Key Responsibilities: Sample Preparation: Accurately prepare samples for various laboratory tests, following established procedures and protocols. Testing: Conduct routine laboratory tests on finished goods to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Data Management: Record and analyse laboratory data meticulously, maintaining accurate and organized records. Compliance: Assist in maintaining quality and environmental management systems, adhering to ISO standards. Maintenance: Contribute to the upkeep of the laboratory, ensuring equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained. Candidate Requirements: Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not essential. A strong foundation in science and mathematics, demonstrated by GCSEs, equivalent qualifications or above. A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.
