Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for an experienced CMM Programmer for a Client in the Bridgend area.
Overview of the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager of the Metals department, the CMM Programmer will be responsible for creating, verifying and configuring control programs for the CMM. They will also use the CMM to ensure that parts and products conform to the latest issue drawing as well as inspecting products and parts using manual inspection equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Create, maintain and verify CMM programs used for the measurements of manufactured and supplied parts.
* Analyse drawings, 3D models and specifications while accurately interpreting requirements.
* Effectively liaise with other departments regarding CMM requirements.
* Management of all programs created ensuring they are readily available in the most current revision.
* Review and define data collection requirements as they are communicated via customer drawings, models, work orders, purchase orders and customer specifications.
* Perform documentation review and verification of certifications, specifications and conformance to design and specification requirements.
* Assist with the measurement and interpretation of First Article FAIRS and prove out parts, liaising with Quality and Process Engineers.
* Perform all duties in line with Company Health and Safety requirements.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday/7.30am to 5pm.
This role is temporary for approximately 3 months but could be longer.
