The Role
Hays are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Technical Business to join our client on a contracted assignment for an approximate duration of 6 months.
Join our clients Cyber Uplift programme within the Cyber Security function. The programme will deliver enhanced capabilities across multiple platforms to protect identities, credentials and data across the application landscape. We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with deep expertise in SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ to support the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) initiatives within Cyber Uplift programme. The successful candidate will work closely with IT security, project teams, compliance teams, and business units to design, implement, and optimise identity governance solutions. .
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to gather and analyse IAM & IGA requirements.
Design and optimise identity lifecycle management processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access controls.
Collaborate with SailPoint engineers, cyber architects, and project teams for successful solution deployment.
Perform data analysis, access reviews, and compliance reporting.
Define and implement access review and certification workflows.
Coordinate UAT, testing, and validation of IAM functionalities.
Document IAM policies and governance workflows for compliance purposes.
Provide stakeholder training on IAM systems and compliance requirements.
Work with IT security teams to enhance identity governance maturity.
Support the facilitation of scoping workshops to define project scope and objectives effectively.
Engage with stakeholders across other Op Co’s within the IAG group, informing them of progress and key developments in the Cyber Uplift Programme.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure planning and execution of all work packages is done within realistic timeframes, raising any issues or risk that will impact the project deliverables.
Engage with the application teams to complete Onboarding Questionnaires and managing the full onboarding lifecycle.
Assist in defining and implementing the following - Joiner, Mover, Leaver, Access Request, Access Review & Certification workflows to enhance governance & compliance.
Skills and Qualifications:
3+ years as a Business Analyst in IAM/IGA environments.
Strong expertise in SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ.
Knowledge of ILM, RBAC, ABAC, and IAM compliance frameworks.
Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and process improvement skills.
Solid experience in application onboarding into IAM solutions and quality assurance
Knowledge of automated IAM workflows, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Java), and API integrations.
