Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background and experience in maintaining and servicing industrial refrigeration and heating systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform service, maintenance, and repair tasks on refrigeration equipment and compile detailed reports.
* Conduct spare parts installation and service inspections following established procedures.
* Travel to client sites as required.
* Investigate and troubleshoot issues, providing comprehensive written documentation of findings.
* Execute installation tasks, testing, and commissioning of equipment, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
* Adhere to Health & Safety policies and maintain safe working practices.
* Represent the company with professionalism and integrity while fostering strong customer relationships.
* Provide feedback on market conditions to support business growth and identify service sales opportunities.
* Contribute to achieving business growth targets and build relationships with prospective customers for new business opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background.
* Experience in servicing and maintaining machinery.
* Essential: City & Guilds 2079 qualification.
* Preferred: City & Guilds 2078 (Ammonia).
* Strong technical expertise in industrial and commercial heating & refrigeration.
* Knowledge of product systems and industry developments.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a natural ability to provide solutions.
* Strong relationship-building skills for both customer and team collaboration.
