We are looking for people to join our small but expanding team of Vetting Staff who assess whether people applying for posts, or those currently employed by the Force are susceptible to corruption, might do significant harm to the organisation thereby bringing it into disrepute, or pose a threat to the safety and security of the public.
Although the role title is PSVU Analyst this is not a data analysis role; the role involves carrying out all vetting checks and assessing the suitability of the individual to hold the level of clearance applied for.
Essential Qualifications
1. Educated to QCF Level 3 (2 passes plus a minimum QCF level 2 in English) OR work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level
2. Proven experience working in a busy office environment undertaking duties involving meticulous attention to detail and accurately recording data
3. Competent use of standard Microsoft Office software such as Word and Excel
4. Maintaining/administrating/analysing complex manual and electronic databases
5. Prioritising workloads against competing demands and meeting challenging deadlines
