Duties & Responsibilities
To prepare accurate management information in a timely manner and support Operation's financial requirements.
ESSENTIAL
* Monitor compliance with the company's financial regulations, introduce robust business systems which comply with the accounting requirements and meet the needs of the company
* Manage general ledger, accounts payable and receivable and project accounting, ensuring all transactions are recorded timely and accurately, which includes the monthly issuing of all sales invoices
* Preparing monthly internal and external reporting
* Support Project Managers and project teams when looking at profitability
* Customer reporting requirements on programs as required
* Support the Regional Finance Lead Project Manager in developing a short term and long term plan as well as rolling forecast for the projects and programs being supported
* Recording forecast and free cash flow at the project level
* Prepare project close entries and make necessary adjustments to data entry errors
* Supporting commercial processes such as pricing up proposals, and setting annual chargeability rates.
* Calculation of yearly chargeable rate
* Support variance analysis and reconciliations
* Support asset management and customer collection
* Assist the regional finance lead in external SOX compliance and testing and external regulatory reporting / compliance
* Help drive implementation of financial standards in the organization
* Support UAT testing
* Supporting tax reporting requirements
NON-ESSENTIAL
* Other duties as assigned inclusive of responsibilities outlined in the RASCI model related to your area of work.
* Travel to sites to understand the work being done as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
* This will oversee the local GDi Finance Team
Reporting Relationship
* This position will report to the Senior Finance Project Manager
Qualifications
REQUIRED
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent relevant experience
* Extensive accounting and finance experience
* Understanding of cost accounting principles and the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
* Understanding of modeling concepts
* Able to view the big picture with a good grasp for details
DESIRED
* Familiarity with reporting under local statutory reporting requirements
* Working knowledge of current ERP system
* International experience is a plus

* Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
