The Opportunity
As Marketing & Communications Intern, you’ll support our Marketing & Communications Lead to drive and execute key marketing, internal and external communications, and events activity in the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region. This is a hands-on learning experience with the ability to take ownership of your tasks, coordinate and attend events, and collaborate with the wider global marketing and brand teams.
The role is based in our Glasgow, UK office with the opportunity to work hybrid from home and the office. This is a part-time (20 hours) opportunity for 12 months with an immediate start available. We can be flexible on hours and start date around study commitments.
This opportunity is best suited to 3rd or final year students on a relevant degree program.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll get involved in:
1. Creating and distributing engaging internal communications via various channels
2. Supporting with event preparation and coordination
3. Content strategy for socials
4. Managing brand assets and brand guardianship
5. CRM
6. Providing insights and creative approaches to aid in campaign optimization, leveraging data from across the marketing technology stack
7. Building, launching, and optimizing emails and campaigns, including standardizing templates, setup, testing, and scheduling
Minimum Qualifications
Current enrollment in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Multimedia, Public Relations, or a related degree program. No experience required. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Current enrollment in Marketing, Communications, or a related degree program preferred
2. Work experience in a marketing-related role or internship preferred
3. CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.com

Strong collaboration and teamwork, strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence, work, collaborate, and communicate with peers across different teams with varying levels of marketing acumen.
