Planned Maintenance Surveyor/Clerk of Works Location: Ashington/Durham Flexible to suit the operating areas of Bernicia Contract: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: £38,711 per annum (inclusive of car allowance). We have created a fantastic opportunity for a Planned Maintenance Surveyor/Clerk of Works to join our Assets and Property Team. About the role: As Surveyor and Clerk of Works you will support the delivery and control of the functions of the ‘Client’ Property service, embedding commercialism, continuous improvement, and customer involvement at its core, delivering the aims and objectives of the Corporate and Asset Management strategies and associated plans. This includes contributing to the delivery of effective and efficient value for money, high quality, customer focused and innovative services, being responsible for surveying works/properties, providing site representation and works inspection and handover duties, assisting in identifying potential areas for investment and implementing strategies relating to the long-term sustainability and improvement of the Bernicia Group’s asset portfolio. About you: We are looking for a likeminded and experienced person who can deliver the following, but not exhaustive, list of surveys: Validation Surveys for proposed works. Stock Condition Surveys. Completed planned maintenance work surveys/handovers. The role is varied and a key part of the success of our team. You will be required to drive for business and forms a requirement of the role. You will also require use of a vehicle for work purposes. You will be required to hold a current and valid driving licence.
