PE Global is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Scientist for our pharmaceutical manufacturing client based in Bracknell. This is an initial 24-month contract and it is hybrid with 2 days a week onsite.
Responsibilities of the role:
Establish a comprehensive and flexible framework (Clinical Utility Index) for modelling ADC PKPD and the Exposure-Response relationship in both preclinical and clinical settings.
Establish the appropriate dose and regimen to achieve better therapeutic index and understand the preliminary dosing requirements.
Develop a cellular mathematical model with a deep understanding of physiochemical properties, the range of affinities that are compatible with the target product profile for each ADC target, and the mechanism of action of ADC components (mAb, linker and payload and conjugated ADCs)
Determine the molecule's therapeutic index by assessing its affinity and half-life.
Possible expansion to other antibody conjugates, such as siRNA conjugates (ARCs) or Radioimmuno conjugates (RICs)
Requirements:
PhD in Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical/Biomedical Sciences, Computational Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience using relevant software such as R, Monolix, NONMEM, MATLAB, or similar
Experience in QSP, PK/PD, exposure-response modelling or other modelling & simulation related discipline
Self-directed and highly motivated individual who wants to learn new techniques while continually pursuing research and publication goals
Excellent communicator (oral and written) with presentation experience, along with a strong publication record
Proficient in data analysis and reporting
Understanding of pharmacokinetics and/or pharmacodynamic principles
Please note we cannot assist with sponsorship and candidates need a valid visa to work within the UK for at least the next 36 months.
