The RDH network will be a critical element in Boots pharmacy strategy helping free up time in store and enhancing patient journeys. About the role The RDH operations manager is responsible for all daily operations on site and ensures medication is delivered too time, safety and within financial budgets. You will report to the Head of pharmacy logistics and manages the onsite team. Key Responsibilities: To lead, develop & motivate a team of shift managers, pharmacists and ACPT's who are focused on achieving the site-specific SLA’s whilst maintaining exceptional safety and delivery standards. Lead and embed a Performance Leadership culture underpinned by ‘Our Behaviours’ in the area to deliver exceptional performance in leaders and teams. Be responsible for, all RDH costs, ensuring compliance to budget and overall cost effectiveness. Implement the pharmacy logistics strategy at the RDH to support the business growth goals Lead continuous improvement on site within the logistics process, reviewing and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Manage relationships with internal and external 3rd party stakeholders in order to maintain consistent high levels of productivity and minimise downtime. Manage changes to service, liaising with multiple departments to find resolutions’ while formulating recovery plans that minimise stakeholder disruption and deliver rapid return to BAU. Lead the RDH site governance agenda, leasing with other departments (IT, SPO, 3 rd party automation supplier ) Help support future growth in the pharmacy logistics function sharing expertise and experience.
