Trade Marketing Manager - Vision Care - UK Based

As a Trade Activation Manager supporting Vision Care, you will be trusted to create and execute annual Trade Marketing plans for specific customers.
This position can be based remotely from home with expectation of being in Alcon’s Camberley office every other week for 1-2 days or when business requires.
In this role, a typical day will include:
1. Develop annual customer marketing strategic plan aligned with the brand strategy
2. Develop personalised marketing campaigns for identified key customers and manage implementation of the plan; including sell in materials, campaign material development, internal and customer communication
3. Define campaign sales objectives & set clear KPIs; setting up performance tracking & regular review
4. Identify & develop key stakeholders throughout Key Account customer business to build relationship and support improved project launch execution.
5. Visits with KA´s & the sales reps team to ensure the effectiveness of the activities, plans and materials developed by the department and to detect new needs and create a solid partner relationship with them.
6. Work in cooperation with Brand Managers to develop and implement marketing campaigns (proposing new ideas and working together to determine the best visibility & communication approach for the campaigns within key customers)
7. Eye Care Professional Insight: Identify and leverage Eye Care Professional insights to activate both the consumer and the Eye Care Professional within your key customers
8. Key Account Customer Insight: Work with the Key Account Manager (KAM) team to identify and leverage customer insight for brand growth within your key customers
9. Champion the knowledge and achievement of all campaign & customer metrics within the UK business
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
10. + 3 years experience within Trade Marketing
11. Understanding of the UK Optical market an advantage
12. Proven ability to demonstrate use of persuasion/influencing tactics to achieve business objectives
13. Proven experience of delivering added value marketing campaigns with demonstrable ROI
14. Experience of cross-functional working
15. Proven experience in developing and establishing successful key relationships and delivering excellent standards of customer service
16. University degree qualification or equivalent in Business Management, Marketing or a related field – desired
17. Fluency in English (verbal and written)
18. Any other European language would be an asset
