Job Description
As a Global Medical Devices Project Manager at SGS you will:
1. Serve as local representative for SGS Belgium NV (NB 1639) linked to a Medical Device Technical Liaison Office (MDTLO).
2. Manage pre-screen form submission process.
3. Coordinate conformity assessment activities from contract signature to certification decision.
4. Oversee project management aspects, including scheduling, documentation, and client communication.
5. Coordinate technical file reviews and assessments.
6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
7. Serve as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
8. Track and assess business development initiatives.
9. Maintain continuous improvement mindset and suggest process enhancements.
Qualifications
Essential:
10. Bachelors degree with scientific or technical background
11. Effective interpersonal skills, able to develop good working relationships with both colleagues and clients
12. Willingness to learn and adapt to change – committed to continuous personal and professional development
13. Able to follow procedures, rules and best practices applied by SGS Belgium NV (NB 1639) and SGS
Desirable:
14. Knowledge of QMS/Medical Device approval processes
15. Certificate of project management skills ( Project Management Professional certificate)
16. Previous project management experience, preferably of multiple parallel projects
17. Having developed tools and processes for project management
18. Must have or acquire an adequate understanding of the relevant medical device regulations, normative and guidance documents (EU Medical Device Regulations, national legislation, IMDRF, MDCG, CS)
