An opportunity is available for a Team Leader to be based out of Exeter, covering Devon. They will report into the Field Operations Team Manager and will be responsible for leading a group of Trades Persons.
The key focus of this role is to lead an efficient and productive team across a region. Key considerations for the successful running of your team include: ensuring they are working compliantly within H&S policies, coordinating programmes of work for them to undertake, maximising efficiencies in delivery, ensuring your team has the appropriate development and authorisations and effectively managing performance on a 1:1 basis.
The starting salary will be £43,491 until the training is successfully completed.

* Collaboration with other teams to manage workload
* Driving team productivity and individual performance management
* Maintaining a full schedule of work for the team
* Ensure our people have the appropriate training and work authorisations to support a safe and productive working environment
* Respond quickly and professionally to customer complaints
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be an excellent communicator with a proven track record of managing teams, and will be experienced in being an escalation point for both the team and external customers.
* The ability to develop a good understanding of Health and Safety legislation, Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations 2002 and Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
* Organised, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and plan ahead
* Good communicator with the presence to build strong relationships with our customers
* An understanding of and the ability to effectively manage performance
* Knowledge of craft roles or the ability/willingness to quickly develop your understanding of these roles and the work activities in your team
* A NRSWA qualification or understanding of NRSWA legislation is desirable but full training can be provided.
