We have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to come and join our expanding team at Stewart House, The Rise, Narborough, LE19 4SL.
Stewart House is a 30 bedded rehabilitation service which cares for people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. We support service users to gain or regain their confidence and skills in everyday activities, which promotes a positive approach to long-term recovery.
People wishing to join the team at Stewart House should be motivated to work in a service that offers a recovery-oriented approach, delivering person-centred care through collaboration and involvement.
The successful candidate will support and contribute to the service redesign and will work closely with the management team to ensure colleagues and service users are represented throughout the changes to mental health services.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing a high level of safe and effective care.
* Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
* Adhering to all Trust policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Liaising with the multidisciplinary team.
* Providing mentorship and support to others.
This job includes assessing the needs of patients, working collaboratively with them to meet those needs, evaluating and care planning, administering medication, observing for side effects, attending to any emergencies during the shift, being named nurse to patients, and working with families to achieve the best outcomes. You will also prepare for and attend CPA, Tribunals, and ward rounds, including writing reports and taking physical and mental health observations. You will be referring patients to external/internal organisations as needed.
