Audit Senior Manager Meraki Talent is working alongside a large chartered accountancy firm, assisting them with the position of Audit Senior Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing firm and to work with a diverse range of clients. The Role Assist in ensuring the successful completion of audit work for assigned clients; provide coaching and training to the audit team as required; oversee adherence to deadlines and budgets, and conduct thorough reviews of the audit files. Key Responsibilities Planning and overseeing the efficient delegation, workflow, and completion of audit tasks for clients in a professional and effective manner. Offering advanced technical guidance and audit planning expertise to clients. Supporting Audit Partners and Directors in audit planning activities and local reporting requirements. Leading and mentoring a team of audit staff, ensuring they achieve their objectives while fostering skill and capability development. Building and sustaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and key contacts. Your Experience A proactive leader in your professional development and workplace initiatives. Outstanding communication skills with the capacity to inspire and influence others positively. A qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent certification). Proven experience in leading on-site audit teams. Skilled in supervising or managing team members effectively. Hands-on experience with software systems used for preparing audit files, financial statements, and audit working papers (comprehensive training on software will be provided). Strong technical expertise in FRS 102, with familiarity in IFRS considered a bonus but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and demonstrate a proactive attitude in managing their responsibilities.
