Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Recruiting Manager to lead a dynamic recruiting team. This role is responsible for leading the recruiting strategy and execution for EMEA customers within our wider AWS Infrastructure Services, Utility Computing and Apps (AISUA) Talent Acquisition team.
Key job responsibilities
The Recruiting Manager acts as a business partner and talent advisor that works closely with senior business leaders, HR Business Partners and the Recruiting team to set and drive goals, processes, and metrics. This role has the unique ability to work across a spectrum of AWS’ businesses and impact each team. As a thought leader, the Recruiting Manager will apply recruiting subject matter expertise to lead operational excellence in talent attraction, talent assessment and new market growth. This leadership role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply their recruiting leadership experience in a large-scale, commercial company. A day in the life
In this role, the Recruiting Manager will:
1. Drive solutions and shape recruiting strategies for new and existing markets
2. Influence multiple stakeholders within the business and across central teams
3. Bring clarity and drive decisions on complex issues that impact multiple businesses
4. Shape business decisions based on data & deep dive analysis
5. Innovate regularly and with ease
6. Effectively grow and develop a team of recruiters
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Prior leadership experience, managing a team of recruiters
• Strong background in the HR/Recruiting space
• Experience in managing, scaling and developing teams
• Proven track record as an influencer, thought leader, and recruitment strategist
• Demonstrated ability to lead transformational solutions as part of a broad recruiting strategy
• Demonstrated success in utilizing data and metrics to drive analytically-based decision making
• Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience recruiting in the tech/cloud industry
• Proven track record of diagnosing and solving complex problems in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Experience in data center and/or Software Development hiring including infrastructure, networking, systems development engineering and physical and cyber security.
• Demonstrated ability to present complex ideas in writing in the form of authoring white papers, proposals, or other formal strategy documents
