Job Description
An exciting vacancy has arisen in our Compliance Business for someone who excels in great customer service and has a passion for building long-term relationships. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering great customer service, has investigation skills, tenacity, and the ability to bring value to all stakeholders.
This role is for Eurosafe Compliance Ltd (ECL), based at our office in Attercliffe, S9.
Accountabilities and Main Duties
Your role (Retentions Account Manager) will be to manage an existing portfolio of clients' properties to ensure that they remain compliant, and the renewal of their contract is ultimately undertaken. This will involve making regular contact throughout the year using our bespoke customer relationship management software (CRM) to secure and process orders for the works we provide, record your interactions, outcomes, and update the clients’ details and information. We aim to retain 90% of our client database each year by providing a first-class customer service experience to our customers.
You will be responsible for reviewing reports from our engineers' visits to check for additional items found, potential missing items required, and discussing other services we provide that could bring further value to them and our business. You will also provide support to your customers on working at height matters, lightning protection, amongst other elements. Occasionally, you might be required to assist our finance team in resolving any long outstanding debt by contacting your customers. This would involve speaking with your contacts to find a reason why this has not been settled and how it could be resolved without escalation. Meetings with clients can be required on an ad-hoc basis and could be a mixture of site-based or virtual. You would be working towards set targets, both individual and team-based.
Ideally, the right candidate will have previous customer service/sales experience, a good understanding of general health and safety, a strong work ethic, confidence on the phone, a personable manner, and fantastic attention to detail. Full training will be given to enable you to be successful in this position. Upon successful completion of your probation period, you will be entered into our departmental commission scheme based on our overall team’s growth performance.
Responsibilities
1. Using a database of information, you will be responsible for the following:
2. Reviewing clients’ contracts prior to contacting them via various methods.
3. Contacting clients to secure purchase orders for the renewal of their contract and establishing further opportunities.
4. Accurately inputting the information gathered into an in-house software system.
5. Quoting and progressing these as relevant until won using a variety of structured sales techniques.
6. Working towards achieving both personal and team-based targets.
7. Responding to customer enquiries and queries in a timely manner.
8. Carrying out surveys and client meetings as and when required.
9. Ensuring workflows are kept up to date.
10. Data inputting / General Admin such as updating supplier portals and our ERP system.
11. Answering inbound telephone calls & making outgoing telephone calls.
12. Attending training courses to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
13. Maintaining knowledge in relevant fields.

* Experience of hitting / exceeding targets.
