Please note: This role is only open to recruiters or sales professionals with at least 2 years of experience in either selling into or recruiting into schools and/or multi-academy trusts. For recruiters we are looking for experience in 360 recruitment or business development. This role is not suitable for HR or internal recruiters.

About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll engage with organisations such as schools, local authorities, and multi-academy trusts to promote apprenticeship programmes that up-skill existing staff and provide pathways for new apprentices to join their company.
This role is ideal for a recruiter who loves winning business and building strong relationships, without the heavy focus on candidate resourcing. You’ll have a dedicated apprenticeship recruitment team to support you in securing new apprentice starters, leaving you free to focus on building client relationships and driving new business.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote the uptake of apprenticeship programmes across education, early years, and professional services
* Win new business, building a portfolio of schools, trusts, and other organisations
* Maintain long-term client relationships
* Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure apprenticeship positions are filled efficiently
* Achieve results in a target-driven environment with a bonus structure that rewards your success

What We’re Looking For
* Proven 360 recruitment or business development experience, with a strong track record of winning clients and selling services (this role is not suitable for HR or internal recruiters)
* Existing relationships with decision-makers in schools, local authorities, or multi-academy trusts (e.g., headteachers, business managers)
* Experience recruiting for roles such as teachers, TAs, SEN staff, or admin staff in schools, or selling recruitment services into schools and trusts
* A driven, self-motivated individual who thrives in a new business-focused environment

Apprenticeship sales experience is not required - full training will be provided.
