2ND CHEF WITH BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE NEEDED FULL-TIME IN WINDSOR & ASCOT - ROLE SUMMARY We are looking for an experienced Full-Time Day Chef to join our Windsor & Ascot team. Working alongside the head chef and a junior chef, you’ll create delicious breakfasts and brunches in a fast-paced kitchen. As a family-run boutique coffee shop and bakery, we pride ourselves on award-winning, handcrafted products made with the finest ingredients. If you're passionate about great food and community, we’d love to hear from you - DUTIES - Prepare high-quality breakfast & brunch dishes for table service. - Bake off sausage rolls and prepare toasties & sandwiches. - Make hollandaise sauce, soups, and salads from scratch. - Work as the Second Chef to the Head Chef, supporting them in daily kitchen operations. - Collaborate with a junior chef at both locations. - WHAT IS ON OFFER - Starting pay rate of £14 per hour (can negotiate higher rate depending on experience & skill shown at trial) - Full-time 45 hours per week - The opportunity to work in two excellent locations with a great team. - Workplace pension - Free food while on duty - Employee discount - Cycle to work scheme - WORK TIMES - 5 days per week (must be available for at least one weekend day) - Hours: 6:15 AM - 3:15 PM. - REQUIREMENTS - Must have at least 2 years of Breakfast Chef experience - Must be able to create dishes like eggs benedict, Florentine, Omelette, & Quiche - Must be comfortable working across 2 cafes - Must be able to reliably commute to Windsor & Ascot - Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen - Must be comfortable working independently or in a team - Must have a passion for creating beautifully presented dishes - Must be reliability with strong time management skills
