An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Patient Flow Co-ordinator for the Emergency & Acute Medicine Directorate.
The post holder will form part of the multi-disciplinary team working alongside the Senior Controller in the Emergency & Acute Medicine Directorate, ensuring that patient flow through the department is efficient, effective, and complies with the Welsh Government Measures and Internal Professional Standards.
Main duties of the job
The primary role of the Patient Flow Co-ordinator is to monitor the performance and patient flow within the Emergency and Acute Medicine Directorate. They will work alongside the Nurse In Charge of the Emergency Department and Senior Controller to maintain patient flow and report performance at safety huddles in line with the Internal Professional Standards.
We are seeking a highly organised individual, who works well under pressure with excellent communication skills. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
