The Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital in Impington is currently recruiting for multiple roles including the following:
1. Bank Staff Nurse – Wards: Support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. Actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect, collate, and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment available to relevant others. 2. Physiotherapist – Outpatients: Provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and advice to patients mainly in outpatients, with potential coverage for inpatients. Work as an integrated member of the physiotherapy team while independently managing a clinical caseload of mainly orthopaedic patients. Apply before 26/04/2024
3. NHS Bookings Administrator: Coordinate receipt of booking/referral information from consultants, their secretaries, or NHS Trusts and manage the eReferral system. Enter and process appointments and referrals into SAP and coordinate the onward creation of patient medical files. Communicate with patients to ensure suitable arrangements are made for their treatment pathway, ensuring all correspondence is received in time for attendance. Apply before 26/04/2024
4. Bookings Administrator: Work in the Inpatient Bookings office of the hospital and carry out duties to ensure a smooth and efficient patient journey for all patients. Receive inpatient bookings from consultants and/or their secretaries and register them onto HMS/SAP. Process pre-assessment bookings in line with current processes, working closely with nurses and anaesthetists to ensure a complete and comprehensive assessment is carried out for each patient. 5. Healthcare Assistant – Theatre: Assist the Theatre team in providing exemplary patient care across multi-specialties, contributing to the support and monitoring of patients. Apply before 22/04/2024
6. Theatre Practitioner: For experienced Scrub, Anaesthetics, and Recovery Practitioners to join their team. It is important that Theatre staff are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures or are willing to learn new procedures and techniques under expert supervision. Support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs.
