Marks Sattin are currently working with a Doncaster based client for the role of Credit Controller.
You will work alongside an existing team of 3 accounting professionals to support the Finance Director. There is an opportunity to make the role your own & use your experience to implement new and/or update existing processes.
Our client will pay up to £30k on a full time basis (8-4PM or 9-5PM).
Your duties will include:
* Chasing customer payments in line with payment terms
* Working with the sales team to resolve customer disputes
* Working to targets & KPIs
* Checking remittance advices, posting sales receipts and general sales ledger maintenance
* Management of sales ledger accounts within prescribed internal credit limits
* Implementing best practice credit control systems
The candidate must have:
* Experience in a transactional role and be able to work to tight deadlines
* Excellent telephone manner
* Accurate and timely data entry skills
* Strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise own workload effectively
* Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts is desirable but not essential
* Knowledge of Excel is essential
* Ability to hit targets & KPIs
