Job Title: Interim Assistant Accountant

About the Role:
My client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Interim Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, working alongside a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and maintain main accounts email and action urgent requests.
2. Bank reconciliations and raising bank payments and investor refunds.
3. Maintain fixed asset register and raising sales invoices.
4. Processing sales and purchase transactions along with checking completion statements.
5. Manage supplier accounts and reconcile statements.
6. Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for review.
7. Assist with the Company's annual audit.
8. Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management including high level excel based reporting.
Skills & Experience:
1. Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role
2. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
3. Proficiency in Xero and Excel
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
5. Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
7. Ideally, L4 AAT
