Pebble Lodge Hospital is a purpose built, 10 bed, general adolescent unit for young people aged between 13 and 18 years, who are experiencing acute and severe mental health problems. Pebble Lodge Hospital also provides an education and day programme service for these young people. Pebble Lodge Hospital is rated as outstanding by CQC. Pebble Lodge is developing an Eating Disorder pathway, and this role will be key in developing and leading that pathway.

This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.
The multi-disciplinary team on Pebble are friendly, knowledgeable and have wide ranging skills to;
• Treat informal young people and those detained under the Mental Health Act using positive engagement, talking therapies and medicines.
• Place the young people front and centre in their recovery journey.
• Engage creatively with young people to involve and empower them to co-produce their individual care plans, together with their families.
• Prioritise both mental and physical health wellness.
• Help young people be apart of the community, charities, get active, eat well and be apart of their own wellbeing.
• Promote freedom of choice by maximising independence and least restrictive practice, in a safe and therapeutic environment.
