We're looking for a passionate security communicator to lead the Culture and Policy team and champion these efforts at this iconic institution. Cyber Security Division, Technology Directorate The Cyber Security Division is part of the Technology Directorate at the Bank. We are an award-winning division of cyber security experts who are committed to keeping the Bank of England safe from cyber-attacks and incidents. In 2023 the division was recognised with the Financial Services award of the year at the National Cyber Awards. This followed previous award wins for individuals within our team at the WeAreTechWomen and Women in IT Awards, and Central Banking's Best Cyber Resilience Initiative. The Culture & Policy Team is responsible for encouraging cultural and behavioural change across the Bank and for winning the hearts and minds of colleagues, each of whom have an important part to play in protecting the Bank and its mission. The manager of this team is responsible for: Delivering a strategy to strengthen the security culture of the Bank Leading/implementing associated projects and initiatives; Crafting engaging and innovative security content and training material; Achieving measurable behavioural change amongst key groups such as software developers; Leading and line managing the Culture & Policy team; Building positive relationships with stakeholders across the Bank, within Government, and with other Central Banks and the wider financial sector. Number of direct reports: 2-3 Minimum Criteria Proven experience: Creating communication and training materials in the financial sector or in a highly regulated environment; Delivering organisational culture and/or behavioural change programmes with different types of audience (e.g. technical and non-technical audiences). Must have a solid understanding of cyber security and technology Proven experience working with cyber security or technology teams Essential Criteria Experience leading and delivering culture/behavioural change Creative, innovative thinking and problem solving Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills Must have an active curiosity about technology and cyber security and be able clearly explain technical information to non-technical colleagues Ability to lead and manage others Desirable Criteria Graphic, print and web design skills Qualifications in areas such as Communications, Organisational Change, Behavioural Change Qualifications in security culture and awareness such as SANS Security Awareness Professional An IT or Cyber security qualification such as CompTIA Security or CISM Experience in using e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Line management experience ___ Our Approach to Inclusion The Bank values diversity, equity and inclusion. Salary and Benefits Information We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate. We offer a salary as follows: Leeds circa £70,510 - £81,360 London circa £78,310 - £90,360 In addition, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package as detailed below: A non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/95th of your annual salary for every year worked. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/50th) or decrease (to 1/120th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year. A discretionary performance award based on a current award pool. A 8% benefits allowance with the option to take as salary or purchase a wide range of flexible benefits. 26 days' annual leave with option to buy up to 12 additional days through flexible benefits.
