We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Rotational Pharmacy Assistant to join the team.
As a Rotational Pharmacy Assistant, you will be a vital member of the team working alongside Pharmacy Technicians, Student Technicians and Pharmacists, as well as the wider multidisciplinary team and members of the public.
This rotational role involves working in the following areas:
1. Dispensary - dispensing inpatient and outpatient prescriptions as well as reception duties
2. Distribution - providing the wards with medicines top-up service
3. Procurement - assisting with the receipt of medicines, which includes moving and handling boxes of bulk fluids
4. Technical Services - working in the clean rooms to assist with the preparation of cytotoxic medicines

More Detail About the Role
Applicants should have good IT and time management skills, good communication and organisational skills, be a team player and preferably have pharmaceutical experience holding NVQ level 2 qualification. This is not essential as training will be given, and you would be expected to work towards your NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent. You will be required to have a good standard of education and GCSEs at grade C or above in Maths, English and Science.
Any successful applicant will be expected to participate in flexible working which will include weekend, late duty and Bank Holiday rotas as required.
