Role Overview:
TEXO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector on behalf of our client. You will be responsible for upholding high quality standards in both procured and manufactured equipment through thorough inspection, verification and functional testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct periodic inspections, verifications and functional testing of equipment.
2. Record and document results to uphold quality standards and meet customer expectations.
3. Ensure that all manufactured, procured and delivered work aligns with customer specifications and internal quality control processes, including engineering requirements.
4. Support and monitor the company's Quality Management System.
5. Communicate daily with the Production Supervisor to align with production priorities.
6. Verify that procured products and services meet quality standards.
7. Maintain, calibrate and ensure the availability of all measuring, testing, and inspection equipment.
8. Keep accurate calibration records and maintain the Goods Received Register.
9. Conduct quality control checks and inspections, reporting non-conformities to supervisors.
10. Perform stock control duties.
11. Create and maintain job boxes and manage weekly inspection area maintenance.
12. Coordinate coatings on machined components and conduct internal audits as required.
13. Support supplier audits and monitor vendor delivery statistics.
14. Oversee and document process improvements, concession requests, and preventive actions for non-conformities in internal processes.
Qualifications:
1. Formal training or education in QC Inspection, especially in precision machined products (Candidates with 3-5 years of relevant experience may be considered if formal qualifications are not held).
