Job Title: Employment Support Specialist
Location: Full-Time available - home-based position, with regular travel to appointment areas across the West Surrey area!
Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £26840 to £28260 per annum

About the Employment Support Specialist Role
As an Employment Support Specialist, you will be required to guide and support customers with their employment aspirations and encourage access to paid employment, volunteering, and other opportunities in their communities independently. You could be working with young people, helping them engage in their community and take part in activities including DofE and sessions which promote skills building or with adults on their journey towards paid work. Activities could range from engaging with employers and education providers to building CVs, interview preparation, and applying for paid opportunities.
We are looking for the following skills and experience:
* Ability to communicate effectively and engage with individuals, families/carers, and external partners
* Experience of delivering job outcomes for disabled people
* A kind and caring approach to supporting people
* A willingness to learn
* An ability to communicate well with others
* An ability to build and maintain relationships
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle*
* Good understanding of Employment Law and other relevant legislation
*This job involves travelling to lots of different places across Surrey to see customers and employers. If you are an applicant with a disability and cannot drive, we will discuss reasonable adjustments.
