Queens Frailty Unit in the Geriatrics Division at BHRUT is looking to recruit a Band 3 ward clerk to join an existing highly motivated team at the Queens Hospital site. Care of the elderly is currently going through a process of change to ensure we meet the ongoing needs of our patients and to always provide an excellent standard of care.
A frailty Unit allows for tailored care for older adults living with frailty. To drive this initiative, a ward clerk is needed to accurately register and capture data of patients that admitted from ED, CTT, and G.P. We are looking for an enthusiastic administrative staff with a passion for delivering high-quality data recording, good IT skills, knowledge of Care flow, and experience in working with elderly patients in an acute setting.
The post holder must be passionate about working with elderly patients and their relatives, putting the patients at the centre of our PRIDE values and taking ownership for this area of administration while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. To provide an efficient and effective clerical support service to nursing and medical staff within our Care of the Elderly/Geriatric ward. The post holder will promote and encourage a caring and sympathetic environment for patients, relatives, and staff ensuring that high standards of service are continually maintained.
