Our service covers the geographical area of West Suffolk and you'll be responsible for managing a caseload from our base in Bury St Edmunds. It is the ideal time to join us; the way we care for people with Learning Disabilities in Suffolk is changing at NSFT as we have recently benefitted from £1.3 million of investment for our Acute services and the introduction of a new Learning Disability and Autism Specialist Service. The development is fully driven by the national Transforming Care Agenda. You will be able to work independently, carry out comprehensive assessments and plan, implement and evaluate delivery of nursing interventions as part of the holistic approach. You will also be able to demonstrate that you are able to apply your nursing skills to a wide range of situations, as you'll be working with a range of adults with a learning disability living within the community.
