We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and passionate Level 2/3 Early Years Educator with SENDco knowledge and experience to join our friendly team of staff.
The role will be room based working in partnership with colleagues to provide 1:2:1 care for a child attending our setting, as well as Speech and Language support for a number of children across our two groups (aged 2 - 4 years). Admin time to complete essential paperwork will also be provided within the weekly working hours and alongside the Early Years Manager.
The successful applicant would be required to work the following hours and days, along with having flexibility to support with covering additional hours as and when required.
* Monday - 8am to 4/5pm
* Wednesday - 8am to 4/5pm
* Friday - 8am to 4/5pm
* plus additional cover as and when needed

A full job description and person specification are available on request. Some of the main responsibilities of the role include:
* To be fully up to date with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and ensure that your practice meets and exceeds the minimum requirements.
* Working in partnership with the Early Years Manager and external professionals; S&L therapists, OT's and the area SENDCO to support our children within the setting requiring additional interventions and 1:2:1 care. Alongside effective planning and record keeping including early ID tracking, individual support plans, individual provision maps and early notifications.
* To be a pro-active member of the staff team in fostering an environment, with outstanding levels of teaching, education and care which encourage children’s development.
* To offer full and practical support in the day to day running of the Preschool.
* Develop excellent relationships with children and ensure their welfare is safeguarded.
* To provide a nurturing, safe and inspiring experience for all children, with high regard to safeguarding.
* Ideally, you will hold the relevant statutory training including; Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Basic Food Hygiene and Fire Safety.
We are a thriving term time only setting, established for over 55 years and are located within the village of Crowle (WR7), Worcester.
