Role Overview:
As a Business Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial training sales, exceeding monthly targets, and fostering exceptional customer relations. Reporting directly to the Commercial Business Development Manager, you will contribute to the growth of our business through various responsibilities and collaboration with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Excellence:
- Conduct cold calls to generate new business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets by cultivating relationships with current and new clients.
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients for sustained partnerships.
- Identify, follow-up, and build relationships with prospective clients.
Operational Efficiency:
- Manage your geographical area to maximise profits.
- Coordinate with the commercial admin team to ensure smooth course operations.
- Organise and rearrange courses as needed, adhering to awarding body standards.
- Utilise Microsoft Dynamics for booking forms, quotations, invoices, and client instructions.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Course Coordinators to uphold awarding body standards.
- Liaise with freelance consultants, trainers, and the vocational learning team.
- Work closely with the commercial admin team for course coordination.
Customer Focus:
- Present to both new and existing clients.
- Handle and process client/trainer queries efficiently.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
Requirements:
Skills:
- Sales experience and effective time management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications:
- Sales qualification or working towards one.
- Customer service qualification or working towards one.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
Knowledge:
- Commercial/business awareness.
- Administration qualification/experience.
- Market/industry knowledge.
