Description Based between our office in Manchester with regular travel required to the Client's site, we have flexible work options. Talented individuals from a range of engineering, delivery and operational backgrounds will be required to form a high performing team. LI-ES1 Responsibilities The Delivery Lead will be responsible for delivering multiple projects, reporting to the Deputy Programme Director. This role will also interact with multiple stakeholders including client and contractors, requiring a great degree of self and time management. The successful candidate will have the ability to work as part of a team, communicate effectively, have high levels of drive and motivation, and prioritise their workload efficiently, which will be crucial to succeeding in this role. As a Delivery Lead you will ensure that projects are delivered within the given timescales and budgets, and to the required quality, whilst identifying, managing, and mitigating risk. Less experienced individuals with the right behaviours may be considered in a development role. Key Responsibilities Responsibility for project delivery across the full project life cycle for allocated projects in a particular area of the programme Take an active lead in the establishment and management of a high-performance culture with successful outcomes across SHE, quality, commercial and delivery metrics. Work with the functional teams to ensure the application of management controls. Oversee the performance of construction activity, in conjunction with the Construction Director, to achieve physical works outcomes. Support the Deputy Programme Director in the development of, monitoring and reporting on progress. Attend at stakeholder meetings, supporting forward planning in readiness and execution of project delivery. Lead progress meetings with both client and sub-contractors to monitor and discuss progress. Attend walk downs and working closely with the sub-contractors ensure enabling documentation is in place for projects to progress into the construction phase. Identify and manage specifically those areas that represent significant risk to the project. Other duties as deemed necessary to facilitate successful delivery.
