Training and Working Pattern Full-time, 37.5 hrs per week on Monday-Friday on rotating shifts at: Week 1: 8:00-16:00 Week 2: 11:00-19:00. What is involved? Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings, linen, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards. Rigorously checking, washing, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards. Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively. Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak). Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust’s appointed person. What is in it for you?
